Name: Shinji
Age: 20
Race: Inslaved Human (Personal - Aki)

Physical Details: Short brown (sometimes black) hair frames the cutest and most innocent face of the youngest of three sons; Shinji has lovely bright, blue eyes which are inspiring and make everyone believe that innocence hasn't been lost yet in this word, as well as kindness and sweetness. His skin tone is light, but not even close to pale, looking slightly tanned and healthy.

Shinji is about 1,77m, but he looks shorter than that, mostly because of his behaviour and clothing. His lips are pink-coloured, and always graced by a smile which reaches his eyes easily. He has a fragile-looking body, which might give the impression he can break if handled without care, but his spirit tells everyone otherwise; he has a really strong and beautiful mind.

He wears bright and sunny colours such as baby shades of blue, pink and green. He loves white and black, dressing in both colours at the same time, too. Besides his slave collar, he also walks around with a silver ring in his right hand, a gift from his mother. He likes neckties.

Personality: It's almost impossible to hate Shinji. He's polite, has a good heart, thinks about everyone else and then about himself and is always willing to help with any matter. Patient and cheerful, the young boy is a breath of fresh air whenever he steps inside a room, lightening the mood up in seconds.

Extremely optimistic, Shinji usually takes a long time before giving in and seeing the other side of the situation. He trusts people easily, but his trust is more 'selective' now, after having entered Kyuusho grounds.

It takes a lot to upset the boy. He usually doesn't talk back and will do anything to avoid a fight, even accepting insults and letting himself be physically harmed. He's passionate, and really devoted to anything/anyone he loves and cares about.

Background: The youngest of three sons, Shinji was born and raised in Tokyo, by a loving and caring family. He got on fairly well with his two older brothers, and his childhood was perfect. As any other kid, he plotted unsuccessful mischievous plans, loved balls and laughed a lot with his friends from school.

One of Shinji's favourite hobbies was story-telling. He loved when his mother, one of his brothers or even his teacher at school told him stories about princes, dragons and evil witches. The cerulean eyes of the young boy literally sparkled with happiness when the happy ending came, and demanded more.

As he grew older, his interest in bedtime stories started to change. From magical worlds to reality, where fantastic beings lived among humans. As soon as Shinji became aware of vampires, fairies, angels, demons and many other kinds of reports and tales regarding them, he got fascinated by those creatures. Whenever Shinji went to bed, he wished he would wake up in the middle of the night and see a ghost or a werewolf.

The boy became a young adult, and he still believed in everything he thought to be true in his earlier days. His brothers laughed at him sometimes, saying his obsession with reports of strange events was useless and that he was letting himself be fooled, but Shinji never listened to them.

If they were all creations of humanity, it would be strange for every report and tale to be similar, even when they came from different countries. It would be strange for those stories to be so accurate, so close to reality, not to mention the rumours he heard about a nearby city which had been always avoided. His mother told him that most of the people who lived there died from a mysterious disease, reason why the others never liked to visit said town.

The town was named Kyuusho Kyusai. Shinji told his mother he was off to college someday and went to Kyuusho instead, unafraid of what could happen to him, as always. The moment he got there, he knew something was different. He couldn't quite place his finger on what it was, but the city did felt strange, nothing like Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka.

He wandered for about one hour when he spotted what looked like a wolf, in the middle of the street. As if mesmerised by it, Shinji stood there, silently observing the animal which turned into a perfect normal human being within seconds. He blinked lots of times, not really believing what he had just seen.

He had been right his whole life. Magical creatures did exist! Smiling and too proud of himself, he didn't notice a second habitant of the area approaching him. Blue eyes went wide when Shinji was shoved against a wall, a growl filling the air as he realised a vampire was leaning closer and closer to his neck, fangs exposed and ready to attack him.

He screamed.

And as if on cue, a second man popped up out of nowhere, quickly pushing the vampire away. He literally saved Shinji, who now was breathing heavily and scared, his legs suddenly too weak to support his weight. He kneeled on the ground, shaking and then raising his head to the man who had saved him, whispering 'Thank you very much'.

Realising he would never be able to repay what his savior had done for him, Shinji had a hard time trying to convince him that he would be of good use there and that he just couldn't leave without paying his debt. Besides, living there was like fullfilling an old dream, even if his welcome there hadn't been one of the best ones.

He soon learned that his savior was also a vampire, but for some reason, he wasn't afraid of him. Shinji got to stay, as a slave to the creature who saved him from certain death: Aki.

Other Info: Shinji's blue eyes are natural: his mother was from Los Angeles. He cares a great deal about Aki and will do anything to please and serve him, even if it wasn't something required from all the slaves in town. He doesn't really miss much of his old life; just his family.
